Duties and Responsibilities
- Participation in remote offshore work with a minimum expectation of 65 Calander days per year operationally driven
- Providing telecommunications Subject Matter Expertise for the Woodside telecommunications Infrastructure
- Delivering the planning, resourcing, procurement & support of Digital Field services activities
- Assisting in the pre and post execution of Digital Project support delivery
- Executing and coordinating planned maintenance activities along with frontline support for Break-fix
- Being a contributing party in execution of Communication Maintenance services as per SAP PM Processes and procedures
- Execution of on-call roster to facilitate break-fix support for all Operational Facilities including Onsite attendance dependant on Business requirement
- Providing maintenance and break-fix support using both SAP PM and Service Now
- Managing change activities in compliance with Digital and Production Processes
- Identifying and assessing opportunities for the implementation of new or improved business processes and present recommendations to relevant managers
- Ensuring the delivery of safety in operations and execution of maintenance and break fix repairs
- Ensuring maintenance support is provided consistently within meaningful Service Levels
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Communications) or equivalent
- Sound commercial acumen for contractor management
- Previous Oil & Gas industry experience highly desirable
- Demonstrated solid foundation analytical problem-solving techniques
- Verbose written and oral communication skills
- Good understanding and experience in continuous improvement and business process improvement processes
- Experience in the Planning, Scheduling and resourcing of work scopes
In addition, expert knowledge of the following systems / processes is critical for the incumbent to meet the requirements of the role:
- CCTV
- Analogue Radio
- Consoles
- Tetra
- PAGA
- RADAR
- Microwave
- Entertainment systems MATV / IPTV
- Aerial and Antenna combination systems
- DC Power systems
