About Woodside Energy
We know great results come from our people feeling valued, getting the support they need to reach their full potential and working in a positive work environment. We recognise that enduring, meaningful relationships with communities are fundamental to maintaining our licence to operate.
Technology and innovation are essential to our long-term sustainability. We are growing our carbon and new energy businesses using technology to reduce emissions and the carbon footprint of our products. We are working to improve energy efficiency, offset emissions, reduce emissions intensity and explore options for lower-carbon energy. Woodside led the development of the LNG industry in Australia and is applying this same pioneering spirit to solving future energy challenges globally.

About the Program
The HSE Aviation Summer Internship Program is part of Woodside’s USA Early Career Pathways initiative and provides students with hands-on experience supporting aviation safety, operational risk, technology, and assurance within Woodside’s broader Health, Safety & Environment organization. Depending on business needs and academic background, interns may contribute to projects related to aviation safety, operational assurance, risk management, aviation technology and innovation, safety data and analytics, human factors, emergency preparedness, regulatory requirements, contractor performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Interns may also have opportunities to explore how robotics, emerging technologies, automation, and digital tools can be used to support safer and more efficient aviation and operational activities. Interns will work alongside experienced aviation, HSE, engineering, technology, and operational professionals while gaining exposure to Woodside’s operating environment, safety culture, and values. The internship serves as a primary feeder into Woodside’s future graduate and early-career programs and supports Woodside’s broader workforce and capability planning strategy in the United States.
