Duties and Responsibilities
HSEQ
- Ensure all activities are performed in line with Woodside Safety Culture, Corporate policies and Woodside Management System.
- Undertake and communicate trend analysis and data driven insights to inform improvement campaigns and/ or focus areas.
- Ensure continuous improvement and actively seek out opportunities to streamline and improve the quality of HSE reporting.
- Ensure activities are performed in alignment to the HSE and Business Plans.
- Be an active coach in Field Leadership behaviors and associated discussion process.
- Develop and implement HSE bridging documents, HSE plans and procedures for GWS work scopes.
- Ability to travel offshore and support the offshore team as required.
LEADERSHIP
- Provide an informal leadership and coaching role to peers, Graduates and Vacation Students (where applicable).
- Demonstrate HSE related values.
- Develop leadership competencies as defined by Woodside Leadership Management Development Framework.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead by example and provide technical and behavioural guidance on Health and Safety expectations.
- Demonstrate ability to manage stakeholder expectations on Health and Safety outcomes
TECHNICAL
- Provide accurate and timely reporting and insights by coordination and preparation of HSE information and statistics for internal Woodside, Business Units and Functions, and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to external, Corporate and Board reporting.
- Undertake periodic analyses of specific topics to derive insights to drive data driven decision making.
- Ability to work with teams at all levels to streamline reporting process and deliver insights.
- Ability to train and coach in the tools and processes to support reporting and insights (e.g. First Priority, SafetyCulture)
- Contribute to development and setting company-wide HSE KPIs and targets.
- Support HSE benchmarking against industry peers.
- Responsible for learning and understanding the business context of work activities and assignments.
WORK PROCESSES & SYSTEMS
- Responsible for communicating and supporting the implementation of HSE WMS requirements relevant to division/business unit, in particular, in the area of Woodside’s HSE Event Reporting and Investigation process.
- Manage First Priority for assigned areas providing governance and assurance for the Investigation and Reporting procedure and guideline.
- Support event reporting database (First Priority) governance, maintenance and improvement of the tool.
- Actively participate in Event investigations.
- Ability to facilitate health and safety risk assessments, relevant to division/business unit.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Analyst or Adviser, preferably in a Health and Safety role with Oil & Gas (hydrocarbon) industry or similar heavy industry.
- Well developed data management, analytical, visualisation and writing skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage own time and priorities and assist others.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Demonstrated high level of resilience.
- Ability to adapt to change in fluid environments.
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the workforce.
