About the Role
The HSE Business Advisor supports the delivery of HSE strategy, performance reporting, and governance for the Australia Business. The role contributes to high‑quality HSE reporting, data analytics, and insights, and supports strategic planning, leadership communications, and major business initiatives.
Working within the HSE Australia Strategy and Performance team, the role plays a key part in enabling informed decision‑making through clear performance insights, effective governance processes, and strong collaboration across HSE, Assets, Projects, and Corporate teams.
The position is offered on a permanent basis and is based in Perth.
Skills and Experience
We are seeking a motivated and curious HSE professional who wants to make a meaningful impact in a complex operational environment.
You will bring:
- A tertiary qualification with 5 or more years’ experience in HSE. Experience in performance, strategy, analytics, or a related business role is an advantage
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and levels
- The ability to analyse information, identify trends, and translate insights into clear messages for technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience or exposure to HSE performance reporting, governance processes, or event reporting systems
- A proactive, solution‑focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Comfort working in a dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities and contributing to both routine and project‑based work
- An interest in digital tools and data analytics, such as Power BI or similar platforms, with potential for training and support provided
