About the Role

PURPOSE

  • The operational readiness team’s objective is to support delivery of a safe, compliant & fit for purpose operating model that aligns with Woodside values and expectations. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual/s to join our Operational Readiness Logistics Team. As a member of this team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth planning, execution, and optimization of operational readiness activities for our LALNG facility.
  • The position will provide integration expertise and leadership across the asset to deliver optimized systems implementation (SAP, Logistics Apps, etc) across our Logistics team and will be the key interface for all the support functions to drive this implementation and embedment.  The position will require interfacing with key internal stakeholders (eg asset managers, project, digital team & contractors).

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY INTERFACES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop proactive plan for systems build out, testing, and training implementation
  • Verify system readiness and assess startup risks for handover to Ops
  • Facilitate and lead training sessions for team members at site
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed integration schedule outlining key milestones and interdependencies
  • Provides coordination of functional specialist knowledge, data validation and cleansing, testing, readiness for go-live, stakeholder engagement and communication as required
  • Key interfaces with Warehouse, Inventory & Logistics functional team, Maintenance, Ops, digital, and finance for network design and testing
  • Complete SAP infrastructure mapping and build out requirements including plants and storage locations required for Operations
  • Identifying risks, gaps & mitigations required for operational readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop integration plan and touch points

 

WORK PROCESSES & SYSTEMS 

  • Focal point for LALNG Logistics systems and tools, network design, and master data validation
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance and Operations teams to ensure logistics activities and key interfaces are captured in system integration plan
  • Responsible for development of Logistics systems Integration plan and procedures applicable to assigned activities and workflows.
  • Provide logistics support and guidance in assurance processes (incl. assurance activities and reviews with EPC).
  • Develops and maintains Logistics performance dashboard on systems readiness
  • Ensure all WMS standards are brought into logistics integration plan

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to identify and assess logistics and supply chain risk
  • Proven system integration experience across the supply chain with a focus on logistics and maintenance
  • Demonstrated deep understanding and experience working with and implementation of SAP across an operating asset
  • Ability to influence and earn credibility across all levels of the organisation including contractors.
  • Demonstrated sound safety focused leadership and demonstrated ability to provide guidance to team members and contractors to ensure a “safety first” mindset
  • Greater than 5 years industry experience including experience in an SAP implementation position
  • In depth and demonstrated knowledge of the project logistics activities and services, as well as supply chain in depth knowledge as it relates to system functionality
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills, business acumen
  • Experience working with operations, maintenance or engineering teams
  • Previous experience in operational readiness, project management, or a similar field within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
