About the Role:
The Execution Superintendent (maintenance) is a key member of the Facility Management Team and is responsible for leading the team in safe execution of planned and unplanned maintenance activities, providing operational and maintenance oversight of the facility and to support reliability and integrity management strategies.
This role reports directly to the FPSO Offshore Installation Manager (OIM).
Roster; 2 week on 2 week off 2 week on 4 week off roster - FIFO from Perth Only
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Team leadership – Supervise and coordinate the safe execution of maintenance by the multi discipline offshore team. Develop and maintain an integrated and effective work culture where all employees and
contractors strive to achieve the facility business goals.
• Personal Safety Management – Leading by example, ensure strict safety protocols are adhered to at all times to maintain adherence to safety standards.
• Process Safety Management – Ensure critical control health of safety critical equipment is always managed in line with the relevant standards.
• Control of Work – Support the Facility permit to work system to manage all activities requiring work permits and isolation in line with HSEC standards. Verify risk assessments are relevant to tasks and effectively identify hazards and controls. Ensure isolation plans are effective and adhere to company procedures. Manage SIMOPS through work screening and sequencing to ensure work activities are conducted in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Fulfill risk management requirements by ensuring all risks in process systems, associated utilities and operations/maintenance tasks are identified and processes are established and implemented in line with the requirements and guidelines of the Pyrenees Development Operations Safety Case.
• Work with key stakeholders to plan and schedule all maintenance activities utilizing S4H to meet planning objectives.
• Ensure all 3rd party activities are conducted in compliance with the company HSEC management standards.
• Emergency Response – Assist the Emergency Commander to manage emergency response, conduct regular training drills and ensure all safety and emergency response equipment is in a state of constant readiness.
• Ensure the facility is maintained in a condition of readiness to leave the field as required for Cyclone Avoidance.
Skills & Experience:
• High level of experience working in offshore oil & gas production operations.
• Strong supervisory / leadership role in offshore oil & gas production operations.
• Relevant experience in all aspects of maintenance and integrity management on oil and gas process equipment including rotating equipment, safety systems, utility systems, electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Possess a strong understanding of the facility safety case and relevant standards.
• Demonstrable leadership, teambuilding and planning skills.
• Minimum PSM Knowledge, assessed.
• Minimum Management of Major Emergencies (MOME) team member support role.
• Ability to effectively plan, coordinate, sequence and execute complex work scopes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders and convey technical information clearly and concisely.
• Possess an appetite for continuous improvement and a desire to challenge existing processes / procedures.
