About the Role:

 

The Marketing, Trading and Shipping team are responsible for sales and trading of products (LNG, pipeline, gas, oil, carbon), new business origination (e.g., long term contracts) and marketing operations.

 

Marketing & Trading are currently seeking a Marketing Advisor to join their Melbourne based team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Some of the tasks and duties associated with this role include:

 

  • Identifying, evaluating, executing and managing pipeline gas sales opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with existing and new customers and joint venture partners
  • Development of strategies and submissions in relation to Government and industry policies and regulations
  • Performing and managing contractual operational compliance requirements under domestic gas agreements and project nomination agreements
  • Undertaking regular market updates on supply, demand, price and customer contract terms
  • Assisting the Operations team in managing day to day nominations and allocations of pipeline gas from customers

Skills & Experience:

 

  • 5+ years experience as a commercial and/or marketing professional in the oil & gas or energy industry
  • Bachelors degree in engineering, finance, law or economics
  • Experience working within large organisations and/or joint venture arrangements
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of stakeholders
  • Highly developed organisational skills, attention to detail and time management skills
