About the Role
The Offtake Coordinator for Trion is accountable for planning, coordinating, and executing crude oil offtake operations from the Trion FPSO to shuttle tankers in compliance with lifting agreements, Mexican regulatory requirements, and Woodside operating standards. The role acts as the single point of accountability between FSO operations, production planning, marketing/shipping, joint venture partners, and Mexican authorities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant crude export operations while minimizing demurrage and operational disruption.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Accountabilities
• Manage end to end offtake documentation, including surveyor reports, laboratory results (API, density, BS&W, contaminants), meter proving records, and custody transfer documentation.
• Ensures documentation aligns with lifting agreements and FSO measurement systems and is auditable and regulator ready.
• Lead development and refinement of Trion specific regulatory engagement and documentation workflows to reduce approval cycle time.
• Develops workflow for approvals involving Mexican authorities including customs, port authority, and ministry representatives, as applicable.
• Supports Marketing and Commercial teams by providing operational input to lifting agreements and offtake procedures specific to Trion.
• Interfaces with internal business process owner to align the Trion offtake process with corporate standards.
Operation Accountabilities
• Develop and maintain Trion crude lifting schedules aligned with FSO production forecasts, storage inventory, and sales nominations.
• Coordinate tanker nominations, loading windows, and offtake sequence to prevent curtailment and optimize FSO uptime.
• Adjust offtake plans in response to production variability, weather downtime, FSO constraints, or shuttle tanker availability.
• Coordinate readiness of metering, sampling, laboratory, and custody transfer systems ahead of each offload.
• Support offshore teams during active offtake operations, including resolution of operational or documentation issues impacting tanker departure.
• Ensure required certificates and supporting laboratory analyses are reviewed, validated, and approved prior to tanker release.
• Facilitate resolution of disputes or misalignments between parties related to lifting schedules, documentation, or operational constraints.
• Maintain Trion offtake records and lessons learned to support continuous improvement and assurance activities.

Skills and Experience
- Citizenship: Mexican Citizen
- Visa Requirements: B1/B2 USA Visa required
- Education: University Degree or Trade Certificate. Engineering degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years crude oil offtake, FSO operations, production planning, or shipping coordination. Experience operating in regulated offshore environments; Mexico or similar jurisdictions preferred. Strong working knowledge of custody transfer, crude quality measurement, and laboratory processes.
- Communication Skills: Proficient in written communication
- Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills relevant to job responsibilities
Proficiency in English is preferred
