About the Role:

 

The Subsurface Data and Information Management team is tasked with ensuring the effective coordination and management of data assets in support of subsurface exploration, appraisal and development activities. As the Principal Data Manager within this team, you will use your technical subject matter expertise, to drive the delivery of innovative subsurface data solutions, that accelerate Woodside’s growth opportunities by leveraging industry leading technologies.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

As an expert in subsurface data management, you will interface with stakeholders across all subsurface functions to define Woodside’s standards, processes and governance. You will be responsible for documenting the effectiveness of data management strategies, while reimagining them for the cloud. You will support and deliver projects, in an agile environment from concept to delivery into working asset teams.

Skills & Experience:

 

To be successful in this role, you must be well versed in subsurface digital data projects and have significant experience in the petroleum industry. Highly developed project management skills and generating tangible business outcomes will be critical to your success. Applicants that are comfortable with emerging technologies and have a healthy desire to challenge traditional practices are best suited to the profile of this team.
