About the Role

Role requires secondment into the Bechtel CSU PT2 Ops Team supporting site construction, commissioning and start up activities in 2026. The Pluto Expansion Project Roster consists of a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off pattern until Substantial Completion planned in late 2026. Residential Karratha or FIFO based roles exist for the duration of project Execute phase. At completion, where candidates are subsequently offered PT2 Operate Phase roles it is a requirement to be residential based in Karratha, aligned to the Asset resourcing strategy.

 

Candidates not seeking consideration for residential-based roles at project completion are encouraged to still apply, with potential for subsequent project opportunities for FIFO or Perth-based roles to support ORG closeout of PT2, PT1Mods scopes and growth project deliverables from 2027 onwards.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Providing operational support of field Commissioning, Startup and Initial Operations activities as project Production Technician role supporting Bechtel scope for PT2
  • Development of ISSoW permits and isolation schemes to support PT2 area activities
  • Providing quality operational input to HSE processes including safety walks, assurance assessment, permit audits

Skills and Experience

 

  • 5 years+ Ops experience
  • Fluent in ISSoW
  • Onshore experience is preferred, previous project experience will be viewed favourably
  • Ability to work constructively with a diverse range of people under secondment arrangements, including operations, engineering, Digital and contractors
