About the Role:

The purpose of this role is to safely create, oversee, and execute logistics and disposal plans for Project Logistics Decommissioning Projects, in accordance with the  Project Logistics WMS Standard. This involves evaluating, recommending, developing, and implementing project plans during the assess, select, develop and execute project phases.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Project Logistics Strategy and Logistics Cost Estimate aligned with the Project Logistics WMS Standard.
  • Document supply chain risks, mitigation strategies, logistics requirements, and personnel needs.
  • Establish logistics and disposals services contracting model.
  • Define key logistics assurance requirements project-wide.
  • Develop and maintain a Logistics Execution Plan through project phases.
  • Manage onshore operations and mobilize personnel and contractors.
  • Identify and manage logistics risks in project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and risk management protocols.
  • Actively manage logistics schedules and costs pre and post project phases.
  • Oversee contract management processes and supplier performance.
  • Support QAQC processes and personnel development within the project team.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Supply Chain or Engineering. Highly regarded. 
  • Project Management qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Able to effectively work within a multi-discipline team including all logistics disciplines, engineering, health, safety and environment, project services.
  • Experience working in project logistics, reverse logistics, disposals.
  • Experience planning, executing project logistics, preferably offshore decommissioning.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and understanding DG, Waste Management cycles
  • Ability to adapt, plan, execute to changes and operational timelines.
