About the Role

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and integrating shutdown and operational activities for the Trion Project. The position ensures safe and efficient execution of shutdown events while aligning maintenance, operations, and project plans through Integrated Operations Planning (IOP). The role works closely with operations, maintenance, schedulers, and vendors to optimize resource utilization, minimize downtime, and support overall facility readiness and uptime.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop detailed shutdown schedules, work scopes, and resource plans to support maintenance and project execution
Coordinate with operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful shutdown delivery
Identify, track, and manage materials, equipment, and services required for shutdown execution
Participate in and support risk assessments and mitigation strategies
Monitor shutdown progress and resolve issues impacting execution or schedule adherence
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout all activities
Communicate shutdown status, risks, and performance updates to stakeholders
Manage and maintain the Integrated Operations Plan (IOP) across 1–12-week execution windows
Ensure all activities align with planning windows, milestones, and tollgate requirements
Chair bi-weekly IOP review meetings with key stakeholders
Maintain and distribute weekly shutdown activity lists, including event planning buckets
Maintain a 2-year forward-looking integrated plan for maintenance and project work
Facilitate quarterly look-ahead planning (3–12 months)
Integrate operational, maintenance, and project plans to:
Improve decision-making through cross-functional visibility
Enhance communication and alignment between teams
Optimize resource utilization and minimize conflicts
Increase responsiveness to operational changes and emerging risks
Document shutdown performance, including KPIs, lessons learned, and post-shutdown reports
Support continuous improvement of planning processes and execution performance

Skills and Experience

Strenghts

Strong planning, coordination, and execution discipline in complex operational environments
Ability to integrate multiple plans across operations, maintenance, and project teams
Effective communicator with strong stakeholder alignment capability
Ability to identify risks early and implement practical mitigation strategies
Strong organizational and time management skills with focus on execution delivery
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment
Experience working in integrated planning environments and digital tools (e.g., SAP, planning systems)

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, or related discipline preferred
Experience in oil & gas operations, maintenance planning, or shutdown execution
Knowledge of shutdown/start-up processes and isolation philosophies
Understanding safety case requirements, performance standards, and environmental procedures
Planning and scheduling experience (P6 preferred)
Offshore or commissioning experience highly desirable
Strong understanding of integrated operations planning and maintenance workflows

 

Proficiency in English is preferred
