About the Opportunities

 

12 month Fixed Term Contracts with potential opportunity for extension  

 

Woodside is seeking expressions of interest for two Social Performance Lead opportunities within Corporate Affairs. These roles will help shape how we deliver meaningful community investment, strengthen partnerships and demonstrate the social and economic value created across our global portfolio. 

 

This is an opportunity to influence work that matters — partnering with teams across Corporate Affairs, Sustainability, projects and operations to deliver measurable outcomes for communities where Woodside operates. 

Social Impact Lead

 

You will lead how Woodside measures, verifies and improves social and economic impact, building practical approaches that support consistent delivery and stronger decision-making across assets and regions. 

 

  • Lead implementation and continuous improvement of Social Performance frameworks, standards and guidance 
  • Own our social impact outcomes measurement framework and the data behind it 
  • Lead social and economic impact assessment and assurance activities and action tracking, including quarterly social performance reporting  
  • Coordinate collection and analysis of program data, turning it into portfolio-level insights on social value and community outcomes 
  • Build practical tools, templates and guidance that lift consistency across assets and regions 
  • Lead communities of practice and capability uplift across the business 

 

Experience you can bring: 

You will bring social performance experience, sound analytical judgement and the ability to translate complex social issues into clear business insights. You will be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, working across operations and building capability through practical tools, guidance and communities of practice. 

Partnerships Lead

 

You will lead the partnerships and investments that bring Woodside’s community commitments to life, working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver programs with clear purpose, strong governance and lasting impact in the place we all home for the people who live there. 

 

  • Lead delivery and implementation of the Global Social Investment Strategy 
  • Manage the partnership portfolio, including funding agreements and support partnership focal points across the business 
  • Build and steward relationships with community partners, not-for-profits, government and industry organisations  
  • Lead employee volunteering and workplace giving, aligned to community investment priorities 
  • Work with asset and regional teams to ensure investment reflects genuine community priorities 
  • Partner with Legal, Tax, Finance and Procurement on agreement governance 

 

Experience you can bring:  

You will bring experience in social investment, community relations, partnerships, corporate sponsorship or a related field. You will be confident managing relationships, agreements and governance processes while staying focused on outcomes for communities and the business. 

This role suits someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, building trusted partnerships that support positive social outcomes.
