About the Role:

 

Reporting to the Digital and IM Lead, the Technical Lead for Projects Office will provide technical/digital subject matter expertise, defining and enabling Project Office Digital processes, systems, innovations, analytics and automation. This position is offered based in Perth on a full-time permanent basis.

 

 

This role provides expert technical support across Projects Office digital initiatives, including project and portfolio reporting, while working closely with broader Digital and Technology teams. It is accountable for ensuring Projects Office digital systems remain current, compliant, and well governed, with a strong focus on data integrity, integration, analytics, and reporting. The role also acts as the custodian of Projects Office digital platforms, processes, and integration architecture, maintaining key digital artefacts and enabling reliable insights across the portfolio.

 

 

In addition, the role leads the prioritisation and delivery of digital uplift and stabilisation initiatives, driving continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and system optimisation. It plays a key role in shaping and advancing the Projects Office AI vision and roadmap, championing digital enablement and data literacy across the function, and ensuring robust governance and compliance for all Projects Office digital solutions.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide technical SME support for Projects Office (PO) digital activities and Project/Portfolio reporting
  • Support interface with related Digital / Technology teams
  • Ensure currency, compliance and governance of Projects Office Digital systems
  • Lead, prioritize and support PO and PO Digital strategic uplift and stabilization activities
  • Develop & maintain Projects Office Digital Systems, processes, integration mapping and digital artefacts
  • Custodian of Projects Office data/system Integration, analytics and reporting solutions
  • Evolve and drive Projects Office AI vision and roadmap
  • Lead initiative prioritisation and delivery activities
  • Process & system innovation, improvement and automation
  • Responsible for governance and compliance of Project Office Solutions
  • Champion digital enablement and data awareness in Projects Office

  • Good understanding of AI concepts, functionalities and use cases
