Woodside is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative AI Solutions Architect to act as a crucial link between the business units and the technical AI team. This role will focus on understanding business needs, translating them into actionable AI initiatives, facilitating communication and collaboration, and ensuring the successful adoption of AI solutions across the organisation. While this role requires a solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, the primary focus is on business engagement, facilitation, and strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, training materials, and other resources to promote AI awareness and adoption within Woodside.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and ROI justifications for AI initiatives.
  • Monitor the performance and impact of deployed AI solutions, gathering stakeholder feedback and identifying improvement areas.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in AI and related technologies.
  • Work within an Agile framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Potentially take on product ownership responsibilities for specific AI initiatives, including defining product vision, managing the product backlog, and prioritising features.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to AI and data usage, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems).
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis, stakeholder management, and facilitation.
  • A solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and technologies, including their potential applications in business. While not requiring hands-on coding expertise, a foundational knowledge of AI/ML is essential.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Experience in developing business cases and ROI justifications.
  • Experience working on transformational projects and a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • A passion for technology and its potential to transform business operations.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience or understanding of product ownership principles and practices.
  • Proven experience applying AI governance within a SaaS environment, ensuring guidelines are established and implemented across the enterprise.
  • Experience ensuring AI compliance with industry regulations, data privacy laws, and ethical standards.
