Duties & Responsibilities:

Woodside’s asset process engineers’ responsibilities include;


-         Ensure safe and reliable plant production by working closely with the operations team and other engineering disciplines

-         Provide strong process safety leadership by identifying and managing risks  

-         Monitor and optimise multiple operating units

-         Manage critical changes to plant operation

-         Participate in and where appropriate lead teams including during unit maintenance outages and trip response

About the Role:

As an asset-based process engineer supporting the 5 LNG train Karratha gas plant, you will be part of the engineering team providing day to day operational support to the facility.

Skills & Experience:
  • Relevant O&G industry experience – operations and/or design, preferably LNG experience
  • Previous experience as a Technical Integrity Custodian highly preferred
  • Experience of relevant process safety risk assessment tools – HAZOP, LOPA, SIF/SIL verification
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • The ability to coach and develop less experienced engineers
  • Strong understanding of management of change, risk identification and assessment
  • Knowledge of advanced process control
