In November 2021, the Scarborough and Pluto Expansion developments (Pluto Train 2, Pluto Train 1 Mods) achieved positive FID. The US$12.0 billion (100%, $6.9 billion Woodside share) LNG development is expected to deliver significant cash flow and value to shareholders.
About the Role:
Woodside is expanding the Pluto LNG facility through the construction of a second gas processing train and modifications to Pluto Train 1. Woodside has appointed Bechtel as the EPC contractor for Pluto Train 2, and KBR as EPCM contractor for Pluto Train 1 modifications. Our Operations Readiness team supports projects by providing Operations subject matter expert input into design and project execution strategies on behalf of the Operations division. They also prepare or coordinate development of all the systems, processes and people required to startup and operate/maintain the new plant.
This is a Perth based role offered on a 12 month fixed term contract, with site travel required on occasion.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Seeking a qualified Instrumentation Electrician (Inlec) to support Pluto Expansion Projects Operations Readiness scopes as an Inlec SME
• Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure Operations and Maintenance outcomes are an integral part of strategic decisions
• Support future maintenance strategy development and implementation in the computerised maintenance management system (SAP4H) including sparing, maintenance optimisation, aftermarket strategies etc. with an Inlec focus
• Assist in the development of a digital Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas Verification Dossier and Inspection tool
• Assist the Maintenance Build process
• Development and validation of maintenance procedures
• Assist with safe work execution, specifically PTW and Electrical Isolation schemes, including HV switching programs
• Perform site inspections and actioning queries from project office to the site
Skills & Experience:
• Electrical & Instrumentation Trade Certificate
• Certificate in Hazardous Areas, Electrical, Installation and Maintenance
• High Voltage Switching officer, and generator operation (preferred)
• ~ 5 years trade experience in oil and gas, preferably liquefaction
• Awareness of SAP4H Maintenance Management Systems
• Awareness in Process Safety Management System
• Experience in Maintenance Planning preferred
• Experience in project support role preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to enable effective communication between Company, Contractor and service providers
