About the Role:

This Marketing role is within the Australia Business Marketing and Commercial group, specifically in WA Domestic Gas Marketing & Trading team.

 

Marketing roles within the Australia Business assist in the delivery of commercial solutions and outcomes which protect and grow value for Woodside, consistent with our corporate values.

 

Woodside are seeking a Marketing Manager to join the WA Domestic Gas Marketing &Trading team. In this role you will have overall accountability in relation to managing the WA Domestic Gas Portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for Woodside's domestic marketing and trading activity in WA, including active support of Domestic Gas Marketing Operations team
  • Identifying, maturing and negotiating domestic gas opportunities
  • Progressing short to mid-term gas sales to execution
  • Managing day to day business, operational issues and commercial risks
  • Enable effective decision making, having regard to value and risk including proactively identifying and demonstrating value-add opportunities.
  • Protect and improve external relationships to influence key stakeholders, including JVs, governments and third parties.

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in economics, commercial or other relevant field
  • Ability to assume responsibility and accountability for deliverables
  • Ability to lead, develop, approve and execute commercial strategies and negotiations
  • Ability to use various influence and persuasion styles to facilitate favourable outcomes
  • Analytical capability, including proficiency of financial modelling (Excel)
