About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join Karratha Logistics in the role of Operations Superintendent – King Bay Supply Facility. This role is suited to someone who has leadership aspirations who can work autonomously to develop and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
The Operations Superintendent drives operational excellence and leadership at the Karratha Supply Facilities, which include King Bay Supply Base, Burrup Materials Facility, and Woodside Heliport. The role involves ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable management of the facilities, championing a safety-first mindset, and leading incident management coordination.
This is a Karratha residential position. An attractive relocation package will be offered for the successful candidate.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• The ideal candidate will champion the Safety Culture Framework, ensure ISSOW compliance, and lead the formulation and implementation of the HSEQ strategy. They will establish KSF-specific performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in HSEQ outcomes and processes.
• The Operations Superintendent will lead operations at the facilities, establish collaborative relationships with stakeholders, and support the performance and development of KSF personnel. They will ensure that services align with operational objectives, enhance asset performance, engage with customers, and drive cost-effective initiatives.
• Managing activities in line with standards, the Operations Superintendent will support the warehouse team, drive continual improvement, and input to improve logistics systems and processes.
• Candidates should have sound knowledge of ISSOW, experience with wharf operations and crane operations, and the ability to lead significant scopes of work independently. Experience in incident response and emergency management is essential, along with strong communication skills and business acumen.

Qualifications:
• A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Commerce is preferred.
• Additionally, qualifications and relevant experience in ISSOW, process safety, and lifting are highly preferred.
• You will have Strong experience in Shore base, project, wharf, site management, people leadership logistics, operations, or supply chain leadership in heavy industry
• Leadership competencies as per Woodside's expectations and technical competencies as defined by relevant frameworks.
