About the Role:

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced logistics professional to join our Project Logistics team based in Perth. Reporting to the Project Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning and managing logistics services for our projects to deliver safe, reliable and efficient logistics network for the flow of materials and personnel in accordance with regulatory and Woodside project standards.

This position will be offered on an initial contract period of between 6-18 months, with the possibility of extension.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

In this role you will work closely with projects, contractors, and our supply chain:

 

  • Function as the main point of contact for projects. Leveraging on your operational skills in end-to-end project logistics delivery. 
  • Develop, document, and implement end-to-end logistics strategies, covering planning, cost analysis, risk contingencies, mitigation, and delivery.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Australian and international regulations concerning project logistics, including customs and biosecurity.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to contractors, third party service personnel and Project on compliance to logistics standards, processes, operational procedures, system usage, and risk management.
  • Adapt logistics strategies in response to project changes and anticipate supply chain disruptions.
  • Engage with project teams and service personnel for coordinated supply chain efforts and risk management.
  • Incorporate technology and data analytics into decision-making processes.
  • This role can be assigned to concurrently support more than one project.

 

Skills & Experience:

 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who can bring the following background to the role.

  • Qualification in project management, supply chain and logistics, or any other technical qualifications in relevant disciplines or equivalent on the job operational skills would be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge and fluid usage of ERP SAP / S4H
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to look externally and translate best practices into the Woodside operating environment​.
  • Ability to communicate and effectively manage change across different stakeholder groups.​
  • Ability to develop and maintain constructive multi discipline and cross functional working relationships.
