About the Role:

 

This is a Perth based role responsible for coordinating Woodside Long-Term Shipping strategy, managing fleet performance monitoring and reporting, and management of Long-Term TCP.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the role relate to strategic shipping and management of Woodsides Long Term Chartered Fleet.

 

Market

 

  • Monitor industry market trends, trade flows, industry initiative, technologies.

 

Fleet Capacity and New vessel procurement:

 

  • Monitor Long Term Shipping Market and identify opportunities to secure new vessels
  • Monitor Long Term Shipping trends
  • Assess Market opportunities including vessels
  • Provide input to TCPs
  • Co-ordinate workflows (Board papers, functional approvals).

 

Operational Performance & Monitoring:

 

  • Assess voyage performance, monitoring and reporting statistics through the vessel voyage reporting system.
  • Ensure vessels meet all Operational and Technical performance requirements set out in TCPs 
  • Manage Fleet KPIs and reporting
  • Track and report emissions

 

Long Term Time (+5 Years) Charter Management:

 

  • Track and ensure compliance with TCP requirements and obligations.
  • Provide input to budgets
  • Co-ordinate Vessel Assurance

Skills & Experience:

Education and Experience: 

 

  • Knowledge of LNG and/or Tanker industry

 

Personal attributes:

 

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, cross cultural skills and a demonstrated ability to work closely with immediate and broader team members in both a dynamic environment and in high-pressure situations.
  • Highly developed relationship building and management skills including external networking.
  • Analytic capability, accuracy, organisational skills (timeliness/planning), attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to be involved in a range of tasks outside of the immediate job description.
  • Ability to manage varying workload demands, including after normal business hours when required.
  • Able to manage a number of tasks of competing priorities and to meet or negotiate deadlines with minimum supervision.
