About the Role
Woodside Energy has recently deployed a harmonized WMS that governs the accountabilities and work processes for the Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics team. As part of WMS deployment, WIL has the accountability to implement and execute an L1 risk-based assurance verification process to confirm adherence to WMS Standards and SOX Controls.
Additionally, with S4H improvements and integration of new projects and assets, act as WIL SME for S4H and other digital tools across WIL and International Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop framework for L1 verification of WMS and SOX Controls for WIL
- Conduct field verification work in support of framework.
- Facilitate and lead training sessions for team members to enhance their knowledge of and embed WMS into the organization.
- Act as International WIL SME for S4H and digital tools collaborating across WIL and stakeholders.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
- Identify risks, gaps & develop risk-mitigation strategies in WIL processes.
- Support International WIL Leadership with the embedment of the WIL Strategy and Service Delivery Model and WMS.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional WIL teams to develop and implement improvement strategies to enhance process adherence.
- Implement and lead regular cadenced reviews of process assurance outcomes.
- Verification of adherence to Chemicals Management process and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Experiences
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in oil, gas or risk assurance.
- Experience in warehouse, inventory and logistics or global risk compliance (GRC).
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to think strategically to deliver long term outcomes.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative style and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Knowledge of Woodsides WMS and familiarity with SOX controls.
- Ability to approach problems with an understanding of the broad implications for the business (technical, financial, legal, reputational).
- Understanding of process assurance to mitigate financial and operational risk to Woodside.
- Commercial and financial acumen.
